And finally, our outstanding and top-quality design skills give you the confidence you need in your sales tools to make connections and sell your product to your desired audience. There are simply too many facets to running a company to be completely self-sufficient. Relying on experts that know how to provide you with these critical tools allows you to focus on other areas of the business that require your attention.

Brand Consciousness

Consistency is key in branding

First-things-first, it is absolutely imperative to be brand conscious with every aspect of your business. Your brand is the marketplace perception of your company. While you cannot control that perception, you can certainly influence it by getting the word out about who you are and delivering on that message, both of which must work together to build loyalty and trust. A brand is like your personality. The Father of Modern Marketing, Philip Kotler, said it best:

“The art of marketing is the art of brand building. If you are not a brand, you are a commodity. Then price is everything and the low-cost producer is the only winner.”

Think about your best friend. What is it that creates such a strong bond? Is it because they are fun and exciting? Honest and open? Is it that you trust them to do right by you? Are they knowledgeable and passionate about things that interest you? Do you feel good about yourself in their presence? Do you take something away from each interaction? Do they support causes that speak to your heart?

Conversely, think about that person you can’t stand, but manage to run into at nearly every social event you attend. What is it about this person that rubs you the wrong way? Are they a know-it-all? Are they unpredictable, unreliable, unaccountable, inconsistent? Do they act as though you’re beneath them? Or does it boil down to something you can’t quite put your finger on?

People interact with your company much like the way the interact with individuals. Your brand gives your audience something to connect with. While your brand is present in the marketplace, it is also present amongst your workplace. Happy customers and happy employees are key to your success. In today’s world, business is about more than just sourcing product and distribution. It’s about having a brand and product that people love and connect with every time they interact with you. Knowing how to communicate your brand and product to your customers is just as critical, which brings us to marketing.

Modern Marketing

Marketing

There are two main components to marketing today, outbound and inbound. Having a healthy mix of both is ideal to reach your customers and to bring in sales leads. Outbound marketing consists of messages designed to tell your audience about who you are: your history, why people should hire you, look how great you are, learn more about us. It’s all very me, me, me, me. While the information is important, it really should take a back seat to your inbound marketing tools that are designed to engage with your customers about what your company and your product has in store for them – how they will benefit from doing business with you. Inbound marketing provides information that is directly relevant to the customer that is highly focused around them. It is designed to begin a conversation and to cultivate engagement – a give and take between you and your customer. In order to do this successfully, you will need to know who they are, so you know how to reach them and how to communicate with them.

Knowing where to find your preferred customer allows you to understand their likes and dislikes, where they can be found and how to generate meaningful interactions. Offering up technical information on back-end development about your game app to users would likely bore them to tears and make them take their toy and leave the sandbox. But serving them secrets on how to level up more quickly might entice them to stick around and spend more time and money with your product.  Having the knowledge about who you are speaking with allows you to target specific markets and spend your marketing dollars more wisely. They call it a marketing strategy for good reason - and having a strategy brings in an exponentially larger number of sales to you. Being brand conscious and having a solid marketing strategy are both essential, but would be all for not without the vehicles to deliver.

Great Design Speaks Volumes

Good design is everything

Which brings us to graphic and web design. And speaking of vehicles, let’s face it, more often than not, the high-end luxury sports car gets the most attention, do they not? Have you ever made a purchase because you liked the packaging of the product? Of course you have. We all have. We can’t help ourselves. We are visual creatures and when something appeals to us both visually and emotionally, well, you know how it goes. It becomes an absolute must have. This is the essence of successful communication. Subpar design work will not only cause you to lose sales leads, but it will hurt your business. If your sales and marketing tools are shoddy, the same might be true about your product and customer service. And your competition will use that information to take leads away from you. You will reap the benefits of spending the extra money to have your communications designed well for each platform, with your brand top-of-mind.

So you see, design, branding and marketing must work together to create and communicate a powerful messages about your product and company. We saw a need for a design shop that offers this combination to tie these essential elements together to provide you with truly integrated, effective marketing. We’ve learned to harness imagination, innovation and creativity to help you stand out and connect with your customers.
